Well, past the arm holes on one of the sweaters I have to get done "right" now. Now it will go fast. Have to pick up yarn for the other. All the yarn I have and I don't have a dark gray. Isn't that always how it goes. LOL
I already have a few projects planed for the new year. I don't usually do hats, but have a couple of requests for some, so they will be my next project after I get the sweaters done.
I figure this page is getting long enough so I will put it in the 2006 archives and start a new one for 2007.
To all you knitters and crafters, I wish you a very happy New Year!

Whew....Christmas is over, what a whirl wind of people visiting, going visiting, gifts and food. I wish it woud last all year long. Only bad thing, we had a winter storm, rain first then snow. I was with out power for 20 hours and the fence was down in so many places that is was almost funny. Had 2 horses running around where they weren't supposed to be. Spent 3 hours x-mas eve day putting fence back up. Thanks to Rebecca & Raphael visiting fron New York city for helping get it back up. Would have taken me all day without them.
I already have 2 sweaters that I have to knit right NOW, good thing I'm still on vacation.
The "Girls" love their new toys. Especially the new mice with the bells inside that have a round shape so they roll better and of course the "Sparkle balls".
Well Christmas is over for this year but all of us that like to make handmade things for gifts can start for next Christmas, right. Lol And we know the =^..^= will be right there to help.

I am trying to get my last sweater done. I have decided to give it as a gift. Believe it or not it's farther along than it looks, once I get past the armholes (6 more rows) it will go really fast.

Hard to keep them out of my pictures. They think it's all about them.
Also have the tree up, decorated all with angels I made.

Came home from shopping with some x-mas gifts for the girls. They heard the jingling of their toys so I had to hide them in the hall closet. Found a BIG stocking filled with cat toys. It's 15 inches long. And a smaller bag with "Sparkle Balls". Only 3 that I can see in this bag. Can't find just the "Sparkle balls" their favorite.

I joined the Knitting Kitty webring and couldn't find the ring picture so I made one for myself of Isis knitting, I hope she doesn't mind. The "girls" love my yarn.

Well... have finished my sweater and someone has dibs on it so started another. Am making another change to the pattern and this will be the 4th look to the same pattern. It's a little hard because Isis seems to really like this yarn.

I have decided to redo the whole pattern. Didn't like how my sweater was turning out. I am now making it open in the front, like a cardigan but with cap sleeves. Believe it or not, but I did have my sweater done. Just didn't like it. Nice thing about knitting it yourself, just pull it apart.

With collar up and collar down.

I am new to blogs, this is my first one so bear with me. I'm working on a few christmas gifts. Not as many as last year. It was a bit much. I knit 8 srugs, 1 sweater and 6 pair of long socks. I started the end of August and did finish in time. You may say "well thats not much" but I work full time (shift work) and I have a small Quarter Horse breeding facility that I run by myself. So I think I did pretty good. Right now I am working on a sweater for myself. I finished one for a gift and I liked it a lot. I feel I am due one. I won't be able to do much on it this week, have 2 - 12 hour shifts to work tues and wed and then dinner to make thanksgiving day, but I am almost done and will post a picture then.
