Priscilla's Knitting blog
October 11, 2007. (2:40pm)
Bad blogger! Bad blogger!
Thats me. Oh my how the time does fly when there is so much to do in the summer time. Been doing so much outside that this has just slipped my mind.
Haven't been knitting, a little sewing though. Hope you all have been doing more that me.
Have a funny story to tell. Have a mouse in the house...with 2 cats. After comming home from doing a little shopping for the horses, I was going through their stuff, heard a squeaking noise.
One cat thought it was in the dinning room, one was going to the basement. I went to the basement steps and watched as the mouse was sticking its head out and squeaking at the cat and scaring
the bejebers out of her. She ran to the basement and I watched untill it saw me and stopped. I got the other cat who was more interested in what I was doing that the mouse. Now I am sitting
here wondering, was the mouse playing with the cat or was the mouse attacking the cat? My luck it would be an attack mouse. This is not the first time I have had a mouse in the house. Two weeks ago (this may be the same mouse)
Nesert brought a mouse into the kitchen, let it go and promptly walked away. The mouse ran away, yet to be caught. 4 years ago I saw a mouse in the hall, had 3 cats at the time. Tried to get
them to come over. Finally got Isis to come. She walked over to the mouse, he stood up on his hind legs, they touched noses (if I would just of had my camera) and both went into the bedroom. Leaving me to chase the mouse for
a half hour till I caught him in a box with the cat watching from the bed. Put him out side and he just looked at me, I guess they invited him in. I had to chase him away. Not that my cats are lazy, I guess we just have had
so many critters through the years they don't care who lives with us.

I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted on my blog. With the nice weather it's hard to be inside as I'm sure you all know.
Rebecca came to visit from New York and left with 2 pair of fingerless mitts. So, now my stash is down to 3 pairs. I guess I will have to
pick up the needles and do something. We need rain, so I'll hope for rain and then I won't be outside and will want to knit.

Picking up the needles and knitting assorted colors of fingerless mitts in my spare time. Its been quite nice outside
and with the 3 little ones to work with it's hard to be inside. Our third foal was a little girl and a blue roan like mom.

My fingers were getting stiff so I had to put the doily away for a little while. So I am knitting a pair of pink fingerless mitts while I wait for my third foal to be
born, hope this one is a filly. Thought this page was getting long enough so I archived it.
A little hard to sit inside and knit with so much to be done outside, never enough time for what we want to do.
