This pattern can be used but not copied to any other site.
Easy knit cap sleeve top with button up collar. Leave collar open or button up and roll down, depending on your lenght of collar. Knit in one color or use contrasting color
for collar and bottom ribbing. I modified this from a sleeved sweater. I tend to knit loose so this pattern may run a little smaller for you. Will try to get a better picture. I used 1 & 1/2 skeins Red Heart Plush in Dark Sage for medium size. This yarn feels like a soft chenille.

Size:S[M, L, XL]
Materials
24-inch US #11/8mm circular needles
US #11/8mm stright needles
Stitch markers
Stitch holders or waste yarn
Tapestry needle
2-6 skeins Light weight or Sportweight yarn.
3-4 buttons
Abbreviations
K-Knit
P-Purl
K1fb-Knit into front and back of next stitch. (1 stitch increased)
St-Stitch
Pm-Place marker
Rm-Remove marker
Slm-Slip marker
CO-Cast on
BO-Bind off
Gauge 8 sts=2 inches, 8 rows=2 inches
Directions
COLLAR
Using size 11 stright needles (can use circular needles working back and forth as stright)
CO 36 (36,44,44) stitches.
Work back and forth in k2p2 ribbing until peice measures 4 inches. (or length desired)
BODY
Knit 1 set up row: k12(12,16,20), pm, k6, pm, k12(12,16,20), pm, k6
row 1: p
row 2: k1fb, knit to last stitch before marker, k1fb, slm. Continue this pattern before and after each marker. 8 stitches increased.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 -2[2,3,4] times. 60[60,76,84] stitches.
Join and begin working in the round.
row 1: Place marker for begining, k
row 2: k above pattern
Work these 2 rounds 8[9,10,11]times. 124[132,156,172]total stitches.
There will be 34[42,58,74]sts in body sections and 28[30,32,34]sts in arm hole sections.
K across first 34[42,58,74] sts. Rm. BO next 28[30,32,34]sts. Rm. K across next 34[42,58,74] sts. Rm. BO next 28[30,32,34]sts. slm.
You will now have 68[84,116,160] sts total.
You will now be working from the arm holes down in the round.
Work until peice measures 6[7,7,8] inches (or desired length) from arm holes.
BOTTOM RIBBING
Work in k2p2 ribbing pattern until ribbing measures 4[5,5,6] inches. (or desired length)
BO all sts.(very loosly).
Sew on button/buttons.
Secure and weave in begining and ending yarn ends.

To move collar opening to center, change setup pattern to k6(6,10,14), pm, k6, pm, k12(12,16,20), pm, k6, pm, k6(6,10,14). The begining and end k6(6,10,14) will be your front 12(12,16,20) stitches
when you join to knit in the round.
